There are many options when it comes to achieving a brighter, whiter smile.

At-Home Tray Whitening

This convenient tooth whitening option works by putting whitening gel in your custom-fitted trays, then fitting the trays over your teeth. When the peroxide in the gel breaks down, hydroxyradicals whiten your teeth. Generally, it takes about two weeks to see results, but it is possible to notice results in as little as three to five days.

Over-the-Counter Whitening

There are many over-the counter tooth whitening options, including tooth whitening strips made with hydrogen peroxide. You press the strip gently across your teeth, and depending on the brand, wait about five to thirty minutes before removing it.

These are most effective if you have perfectly straight teeth. We believe you should consult with your dentist before using any over-the-counter whitening treatment.

Paint-On Teeth Whiteners

Paint-On whiteners are less expensive and less effective than whitening strips or our professional options. With a small brush, you apply the gel to the teeth. A film coats the teeth, hardens after application, then dissolves in the mouth.

Whitening Toothpaste and Mouthwash

Whitening toothpastes and mouthwashes are the least expensive options. They work by removing stains on the surface of the teeth by using mild abrasives. They will lighten the look of your teeth but do not actually lighten the actual shade of the tooth.

Permanent Whitening

You might think this is not an option but dental veneers are as close to permanent whitening as you can get. These thin porcelain shells applied to the surface of your teeth are much more stain resistant than your natural teeth and can provide a gleaming white smile for years.
